Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of Home Affairs Muhammad Tito Karnavian has officially appointed Commissioner General Tomsi Tohir as the Ministry's Secretary-General and Inspector General (ret) Sang Made Mahendra Jaya as Inspector-General.
The appointments, made at the ministry’s headquarters in Jakarta on Tuesday (11/2/2025), are based on Presidential Decree No. 32/TPA/2025.
Previously serving as Acting Secretary-General, General Tomsi’s performance over the past year convinced the minister to make his role permanent, according to antaranews.com.
Minister Tito emphasized that the Secretary-General is vital to coordinating regional governments, ensuring policy consistency nationwide.
Meanwhile, Sang Made, formerly a senior advisor on legal affairs, is now responsible for overseeing regional and internal government integrity. Minister Tito urged him to strengthen communication with regional inspectors.
