President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo emphasized that human resource development is the key to realizing Indonesia Emas 2045 (Golden Indonesia 2045) during his address at the LDII's 2023 National Working Meeting and the official launch of Minhaajurrosyidiin's Multipurpose Building in Jakarta on Tuesday (7/11/23). "The challenges ahead won't be easy. But once again, with the character we instill and the human resources we develop, I believe, God willing, we can achieve it (Indonesia Emas 2045)," stated the President. He acknowledged the global challenges faced by various nations, including economic uncertainty, climate change, and conflicts. However, he expressed confidence in Indonesia's ability to meet these challenges with a strong sense of unity. "That's why I often say that 2024, 2029, 2034 are pivotal moments that will determine whether Indonesia can leap forward. This necessitates robust national leadership, unwavering unity, and solidarity," he emphasized. The President also mentioned the need for strong national leadership to address these challenges, stating, "National leadership that unifies, that embraces everyone for the sake of unity and solidarity, to achieve the goal of Indonesia Emas 2045." Among the attendees were Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Muhadjir Effendy, Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto, Trade Minister Zulkifli Hasan, Indonesian Military Commander Admiral Yudo Margono, Chief of the National Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, along with LDII's Central Board Chairman Chriswanto Santoso and his team.
