inp.polri.go.id -  The West Java Regional Police will deploy hundreds of joint officers to secure the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Conference at Gedung Merdeka, Asia Afrika street, Bandung, West Java, on next Thursday (10/27). Security measures were prepared by involving security forces from the Bandung Police and West Java Police. Bandung Police Chief, Commissioner Aswin Sipayung explained that his party had prepared a security measures for the international event. Among other things, the police will be deployed beside Gedung Merdeka as the venue for the OIC Conference, and at the Savoy Homann Hotel where delegates from 49 OIC member countries rest. "The security force of the Bandung Polrestabes totals 350 personnel," explained the Bandung Police Chief, Tuesday (18/10/2022). As reported by pmjnews.com on Wednesday (10/19), Commissioner Aswin Sipayung said the security also involved members of the Mobile Brigade and Sabhara West Java Police.
