Jakarta – Indonesian National Police keeps eradicating the land mafia cases. In 2021, Police have 69 land mafia cases handled by the Anti-Land Mafia Task Force of the Indonesian National Police.
Chief of PR Division of Indonesian National Police, Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, stated that the cases are recorded in the year 2021 until October.
"The target on the cases solving on 2021 is that 69 land mafia cases are being handled", Dedi said to the press in Jakarta on Friday (19/11).
The details are five cases still in the initial investigation, 34 in the investigation phase, and fourteen cases have been handed over on First Stage. Then, 15 land mafia cases have been put into the Second Stage. One case is stopped using Restorative Justice.
Dedi added that from the land mafia case, 61 people had been declared suspects in those cases. "The suspects of land mafia cases are 61 people", the Former Chief of Central Kalimantan Regional Police said.
Of 61 suspects, seven are detained, 23 are have not detained yet. Two people are being put on the wanted list, and 29 others have been handed over to prosecutors.
Previously, Chief of Indonesian National Police, Listyo Sigit Prabowo, has instructed all his personnel not to hesitate to solve and punish land mafia offences in Indonesia.
