Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The government of Indonesia and the United Nations have launched the Indonesia Roadmap for the Global Accelerator on Jobs and Social Protection, a joint initiative to boost inclusive job creation and expand social protection for vulnerable populations.
“The roadmap supports national priority programs on green and digital economy, inclusive education and employment, and adaptive social protection,” said Deputy Minister of National Development Planning Febrian Alphyanto Ruddyard on Tuesday (10/6/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
The $3.15 million initiative, supported by ILO, UNICEF, UNDP, and the World Bank, focuses on modernizing social protection systems and closing disability inclusion gaps.
“By linking adaptive social protection with industry-based skills development, this initiative will enhance job opportunities and coverage for those most at risk, serving as a model for other countries,” said UN Resident Coordinator Gita Sabharwal.
Launched by the UN Secretary-General in 2021, the Global Accelerator supports post-COVID-19 recovery through green and inclusive growth. The Indonesian roadmap is in line with three national priorities in the 2025–2029 development plan.
