Inp.polri.go.id - Abu Dhabi. The Indonesian Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General in Dubai have officially declared a Level 3 Security Alert following intensified military escalations between the U.S.-Israel and Iran.
The security status was activated as United Arab Emirates (UAE) defense forces intercepted missiles over Abu Dhabi early Sunday (1/3/2026).
"We urge all Indonesian citizens to increase vigilance, minimize outdoor movement, and stay clear of potentially targeted areas," the Embassy said in a written statement following a virtual town hall meeting with the Indonesian community on Saturday, as reported by antaranews.com
While local conditions remain relatively stable, authorities cautioned against potential drone and missile threats. Reports from the ground described the sound of heavy artillery and fighter jets patrolling the airspace during the pre-dawn hours.
The regional volatility has forced Zayed International Airport to suspend departures, adding to a wave of cancellations across the Gulf. Indonesians in the UAE are advised to remain calm, monitor official updates, and register via the “Peduli WNI” portal for emergency assistance.
