Inp.polri.go.id - Surabaya.  The Indonesia U-19 national team triumphed over the Philippines with a 6-0 victory in the group stage of the ASEAN U-19 Boys Championship at Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium on Wednesday night (17/.

Indonesia's goals came from Arlyansyah Abdulmanan (12th and 50th minutes), Iqbal Gwijangge (22nd and 43rd minutes), Kadek Arel (29th minute), and Jens Raven (86th minute).

In the first half, Indonesia launched an aggressive attack on the Philippines' defense, managed by captain Martin Joshua Leonor. Despite a few attempts from the Philippines, Indonesia's relentless offense paid off with Arlyansyah Abdulmanan scoring the first goal at the 12th minute, assisted by captain Dony Tri Pamungkas.

Iqbal Gwijangge doubled the lead with a header in the 22nd minute, followed by Kadek Arel's goal in the 29th minute. Iqbal Gwijangge scored his second goal just before halftime, bringing the score to 4-0.

In the second half, the Philippines tried to retaliate but failed to break through Indonesia's strong defense. Arlyansyah Abdulmanan scored again in the 50th minute, making it 5-0. Despite some attempts by the Philippines, including a long-distance shot by Caraig Solomon in the 61st minute, Indonesia's goalkeeper Ikram Algiffari maintained a clean sheet.

Jens Raven sealed the victory with his first goal for Indonesia in the 86th minute, bringing the final score to 6-0.

Their performance marked Indonesia's first win in the group stage of the ASEAN U-19 Boys Championship.
