The Head of INP Public Relations Division, Inspector General Johnny Eddizon Isir, stated that the orderly and responsible attitude demonstrated by the public in expressing their aspirations is commendable. He believes that a safe and conducive situation can be achieved through cooperation between the public and the police.
"We express our gratitude and appreciation to the protesters in several regions who expressed their aspirations in an orderly, safe, and peaceful manner. This demonstrates that freedom of expression can go hand in hand with an awareness of maintaining order and respecting the rights of others," said Johnny on Wednesday (10/28/2026).
He emphasized that they will remain committed to serving every public aspiration by prioritizing a humane attitude, respecting human rights, and acting in accordance with procedures and laws and regulations.
"We are here to serve the public and ensure that every citizen can express their aspirations safely. We invite all elements of society to continue to maintain order, respect each other, and work together to create a conducive situation," he added.
INP hopes that the spirit of unity and good communication between the public and the police will continue to be maintained. By prioritizing dialogue, mutual respect, and shared responsibility, the expression of aspirations can take place in an orderly manner without disrupting the rights of others to carry out their activities.
