Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Criminal Investigation Agency’s Directorate for Narcotics Crimes has arrested a foreigner accused of overseeing a clandestine drug laboratory in Bali.
The suspect, identified as RN, was captured in Thailand.
“He is the mastermind behind the clandestine lab in Bali,” said Brigadier General Mukti Juharsa, the Director of Narcotics Crimes, on Sunday (22/12/2024), as quoted by antaranews.com..
The suspect is believed to have managed a hydroponic cannabis production operation.
In May 2024, police arrested three foreigners connected to the operation of a clandestine drug lab in a rented villa in Tibubeneng, Badung, Bali. The villa had been converted into a hydroponic cannabis and mephedrone production site for Indonesia’s Hydra network.
