inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP)'s Narcotics Crimes Directorate arrested two suspects in connection with Erwin Iskandar, also known as Ko Erwin, a drug network.
The two suspects, Charles Bernando and Arfan Yulias Lauw, were arrested in Teluk Naga, Tangerang, Banten, on Saturday (2/28/2026).
"The Sub-Directorate IV operational team conducted further investigations into suspect Erwin Iskandar. Suspect Erwin Iskandar had previously engaged in a methamphetamine transaction purchased from Charlie," explained the Director of Narcotics Crimes at, Brigadier General Eko Hadi Susanto, in a written statement on Monday (2/3/2026).
Eko stated that the transaction occurred in November 2025 at the Tokyo Riverside Tower Beppu apartment, 36th floor, room 69. The Sub-Directorate IV team from INP's Narcotics Crimes Directorate immediately went to the location upon receiving the information and arrested suspect Charlie after a forced break-in with the apartment's security personnel.
He stated that investigators confiscated seven plastic clips containing white powder suspected to be methamphetamine on a red Janji Jiwa cloth, one small plastic clip suspected to be methamphetamine in a wallet, one orange plastic bag containing two plastic clips suspected to contain methamphetamine, one plastic clip suspected to contain ketamine, two plastic packages suspected to contain HappyWater, one plastic box containing a glass pipette and a lighter, one bottle and straw, one bundle of white straws, one plastic clip containing approximately 300 empty yellow-orange capsules, one plastic hose approximately one meter long, one black plastic bag containing approximately 20 green gas lighters, one digital scale, and one bundle of small and medium-sized plastic clips.
"Based on Charlie's statement, the items were taken from The Doctor, who was introduced to him by Arfan, who lives in the Tokyo Riverside Tower Beppu apartment, 33rd floor, room 15. So the team immediately pursued Arfan," said Eko.
