Inp.polri.go.id - Bogor. Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo attended the closing ceremony of the National Basic Training for the Brigade Persis Central Command, an Islamic organisation, at the Mobile Brigade (Brimob) Training Center in Cikeas, Gunung Putri, Bogor, West Java, on Monday (6/7/2026) .
During the event, he strongly highlighted the critical importance of maintaining national unity as the main foundation for ensuring public security and executing government programs. He urged Brigade Persis members to actively partner with law enforcement to safeguard social harmony and maintain a conducive environment.
"Of course, on every occasion, I always emphasize the importance of maintaining the values of unity and cohesion," Chief Sigit said. "Therefore, I also expect Brigade Persis to work together with the police in maintaining harmony and unity, as well as supporting the realization of all government programs and a conducive public security situation."
The police chief added that this collaborative event directly aligns with the fifth directive issued by President Prabowo Subianto during the 80th Bhayangkara Day, which instructed the police force to deepen synergies with all elements of society.
Looking toward future challenges, including Indonesia's upcoming demographic bonus and rapid technological shifts, Chief Sigit encouraged Brigade Persis to continuously improve its human resources. He specifically challenged the organization to become a grassroots pioneer in upgrading digital literacy to shield communities from online misinformation and effectively build toward the "Golden Indonesia 2045" vision.
