Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Suyudi Ario Seto highlighted the importance of network unmasking and asset tracing when combating digital and transnational crimes during a briefing at the National Resilience Institute (Lemhannas) in Jakarta on Friday (10/30/2026).
"Handling crimes should not focus solely on field perpetrators, but more importantly on network disclosure, fund flow tracking, and loss recovery for victimized communities," he said.
Addressing complex threats such as online fraud, malware, ransomware, and deepfake manipulations, Chief Suyudi emphasized the Indonesia Anti-Scam Center's financial fraud data and stressed multi-sectoral and international cooperation to trace assets, dismantle syndicates, and protect the public.
