The Indonesian National Police Chief (INP) General Listyo Sigit Prabowo emphasized the eradication of online gambling to all his staff in the 2025 INP Leadership Meeting (Rapim). In fact, General Sigit has asked high-ranking officers not to hesitate to take action against members involved.

"Starting from the involvement of members within, of course we must carry out daily inspection on them, even up to law enforcement," said INP Chief on Friday (1/31/2025).

General Sigit said that online gambling has a huge impact on society, especially on the lower classes. 

According to the data, currently online gambling has also been accessed by underage children.

INP Chief emphasized that the Bhayangkara Corps is committed to eradicating online gambling in Indonesia.

"Therefore, I ask for this to continue to be enforced and coordinate the effor wiith all colleagues, so that we can really resolve this online gambling problem," explained General Sigit
