Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Suyudi Ario Seto urged all police officers to remain humble and avoid arrogance regardless of rank or position during a Friday sermon at the Al-Ikhlas Mosque inside the iNP Headquarters on Friday (9/10/2026)).
He said that authority, position, and material wealth are trusts from God that must be managed responsibly and utilized to serve others rather than foster superiority.
"Be someone who is always humble, do not be arrogant, and never feel superior to others. Position, rank, and power are trusts that must be carried out with full responsibility. Respect fellow human beings, help those in need, and remain a simple person," Chief Suyudi said.
He noted that higher positions carry greater obligations to act wisely, show empathy, and serve as role models within workplaces, families, and communities. Reinforcing faith through honesty, sincerity, and gratitude allows police officers to execute their duties responsibly and build harmonious relationships with the public under the "Police with the Community" approach.
