Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) reinforced forest firefighting efforts in West Kalimantan by deploying 300 Mobile Brigade (Brimob) officers from East Kalimantan and Bali under Operation Aman Nusa II

From East Kalimantan, East Kalimantan Regional Police Chief Inspector General Endar Priantoro led the send-off ceremony at Sepinggan Airport for 190 Brimob II Korbrimob officers commanded by Senior Commander Iwan Hidayat.

Simultaneously, Bali Regional Police Chief Inspector General Daniel Adityajaya dispatched a 110-strong Brimob company led by Senior Inspector Nyoman Supartha from I Gusti Ngurah Rai Air Force Base directly to Pontianak.

"The INP is fortifying early mitigation through integrated patrols, early detection, rapid personnel deployment, and cross-agency collaboration with the the military and local administrations," said INP Head of Public Relations Division Inspector General Johnny Eddizon Isir.

The mobilized Brimob units will bolster West Kalimantan Police forces in executing rapid ground-level firefighting, protecting peatland areas, enforcing environmental laws against arson, and safeguarding local communities from severe smoke hazards.
