Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian National Police (INP) has deployed additional officers and logistics to support disaster victims in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra as part of Operation Aman Nusa II, reinforcing ongoing humanitarian efforts.
“The INP’s presence is not symbolic; we are on the ground to help communities recover,” said Commissioner General Mohammad Fadil Imran, the Assistant to the INP Chief for Operations, on Tuesday (16/12/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
A total of 237 officers were dispatched from Jakarta, supported by 75 vehicles including ambulances, logistics trucks, field kitchens, trail bikes, and amphibious boats. Polri also sent tents, generators, clean water systems, ready-to-eat food, and medical teams equipped with ambulances.
The deployment strengthens nearly 11,000 officers already operating in affected areas. The mission, carried out in coordination with state shipping company PT Pelni, aims to ensure security, humanitarian assistance, and sustained recovery until communities fully rebound.
