inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The International Relations Division of Indonesian National Police (INP) discussed the eradication of online gambling along with the Cambodian authorities. 

It cannot be denied that there are many Indonesians that have fallen victim to online gambling.

Representing Indonesia was led by the INP International Relations Division, Inspector General Krishna Murti, while the Cambodian was represented by the Cambodia National Police (CNP) Major General Pheanuk Kolkomar as the Deputy Chief of Staff Cambodia National Police.

The meeting was also attended by the Indonesian Ambassador for Phnom Penh and the International Cooperation CNP. The activity started from 7 to 13 April 2025 in Phnom Penh, Poipet, Bavet and Sihanoukville.

"We found many Indonesian citizens working in the online industry which is prohibited in Indonesia (Online Gambling, Online Scamming, Phishing, Cracking)," explained the Secretary of NCB Interpol of INP International Relations, Brigadier General Untung Widyatmoko on Monday (4/14/2025).

He explained that INP and CNP have the same perspective to eradicate transnational crime in the ASEAN region under the umbrella of Aseanapol and Interpol.
