Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Food Task Force of Indonesian National Police (INP) announced that they are now prioritizing the monitoring of rice distribution to ensure its domestic availability.
“For now, we have done various steps to fill the rice stock void in retail markets by government agency in charge,” said the Head of INP Food Task Force, Brigadier General Wishnu Hermawan in his written statement on Monday (2/19/2024).
Wishnu conveys that there is an increase in distribution volume of premium rice in several Modern Retail Distribution Center Warehouse and how stabilized the stocks in Cipinang Rice Main Market.
On the other hand, the INP Food Task Force is monitoring central rice production region and with this monitoring it is hoped there will be no disruptions to the rice production elements and distribution from the rice warehouse to the market.
“I have instructed Special Criminal Investigation Director as the regional task force chief to uphold the law firmly against any violations in rice distributions,” said Wishnu.
