Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Indonesian National Police (INP) guarantees the U-17 FIFA World Cup would be going smoothly, safely, and secured. The police themselves has prepared security operations for the prestigious international event. “INP will also involve regional task force personnel for security operations,” says INP PR Chief, Inspector General Sandi Nugroho on Tuesday (11/7/2023). He explains that the operations will cover the match, VVIP, VIP, Official, players, referee, and the committee security for the U-17 World Cup. The operations, with the codename of Aman Bacuya-2023 will be carried out for 25 days, from November 10th to December 4th, 2023. The operations will specifically be carried out by Metro Jaya Regional Police, West Java Regional Police, Central Java Regional Police, and East Java Regional Police. Police will deploy a total of 13,246 personnel with INP personnel of 415, and Regional Polices involved of 12,832 personnel. The security operations will be centered around the opening ceremony venue, match stadiums, and closing ceremony venue. “By prioritizing pre-emptive and preventive initiatives, supported with law enforcement and public information in maintaining the situation, we will guarantee a safe and secure U-17 FIFA World Cup,” says Sandi. According to Sandi, police personnel tasked with security operations also asked to anticipate all disturbances potentials. “The goal of this operation is to ensure the security of FIFA U17 World Cup, to ensure the event would be going safely and smoothly,” conclude Sandi.
