inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) invites the public who are still at the front of the Parliament Complex to join the police in maintaining public security and safety.
The INP Public Relations Chief, Inspector General Johnny Edison Isir says that the expression of opinion is part of a democratic life that is guaranteed by the government, however its implementation must still consider the rights of the others.
“We invite the people who are protesting to join us in maintaining public security and safety together. Let us together respect the rights of others who are not joining the protest” says Johnny.
On the other hand, INP also appreciates APMB who are being cooperative in maintaining public security and order when expressing their aspirations.
“We also appreciate APMB and other community groups who are working together with us in maintaining the situation to remain safe, orderly, and conducive during protest,” adds Johnny.
Furthermore, INP expressed their gratitude to all members of the public who played a role in creating a safe situation during the protest.
"We are grateful for the cooperation of all members of the public. We will remain consistent in providing services so that all community activities can proceed safely, orderly, and comfortably," he concluded.
