inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) officially launched the 2026 E-Sports Kapolri Cup during the 2026 IESPA National Conference (Munas) Symphony of Victory, held at Balai Kartini, Jakarta, on Thursday (6/5/2026).
This event demonstrates INP's commitment to supporting the development of the national e-sports ecosystem while strengthening relationships with the younger generation in the digital era.
The launch was conducted by the Head of the Public Relations Division of INP, Inspector General Jhonny Eddizon Isir, along with the Director of Cyber Criminal Investigation at INP Criminal Investigation Agency, Brigadier General Adex Yudiswan. The event was also witnessed by national e-sports stakeholders, the digital community, and game industry activists in Indonesia.
On the occasion, Adex explained that the 2026 E-Sports Kapolri Cup was presented as a platform for developing the younger generation through healthy, fair, and high-achieving competition.
"The 2026 Kapolri E-Sports Cup is not just a competition, but also a means of developing the younger generation in channeling their talents and potential positively. We want to provide a healthy and competitive space for Indonesian e-sports talents to develop and excel," said Adex to reporters.
This tournament is also part of INP's transformation in reaching out to young people who are active in the digital space. In addition to competition, the event also carries educational messages about the dangers of drug abuse, preventing cyberbullying, and the importance of maintaining personal data security.
"Through this activity, we also want to convey educational messages to the younger generation about the importance of using the digital space wisely, safely, and productively. E-sports can be a means of building character, discipline, sportsmanship, and creativity in young Indonesians," he added.
At the launch, INP also introduced the official logo and theme of the 2026 Kapolri E-Sports Cup, "Dream to Become." This theme reflects the spirit of the younger generation to dare to dream and turn passion into achievement.
