Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) is offering opportunities for the members of the U-20 Indonesia National Football Team who were unable to participate in the 2023 U-20 World Cup to become police officers.

The offering opportunities were announced after President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo revealed that some U-20 Indonesia National Football Team players expressed their desire to become police officers when he visited them at the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Stadium.

According to Inspector General Sandi Nugroho, the Head of the Public Relations Division of INP, the police is providing a chance for U-20 players to join through a proactive recruitment process, which considers recognizing talent, including in sports.

"The police opens door for U-20 football players. However, those who are who are interested in joining INP must fulfill INP the requirements set in the selection process," he said.
