Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) reshuffled 146 high-ranking officers and mid-ranking officers in late July 202 following the issuance of Telegram Letters dated 31 July 2026, ST/1584/VII/KEP./2026 covering 119 offficers and ST/1585/VII/KEP./2026 covering 27 officers.
INP Head of Public Relations Division Inspector General Johnny Eddizon Isir said that officer rotations serve as a standard organizational practice aimed at career development, organizational revitalization, and operational enhancement.
"Rotations represent a standard function within Polri's organizational dynamics. This forms part of career development while strengthening our organizational structure so law enforcement operations continue running at peak performance," he said on Friday (31/7/2026).
Among the 146 reassigned officers, 105 received promotions or equivalent lateral placements. Notably, Brigadier General Untung Widyatmoko was appointed to a principal position at INP Headquarters i) as Head of the International Relations Division.
The overall promotional breakdown includes four officers advancing to Inspector General rank (IB), twenty-four to Brigadier General rank (IIA), forty-eight to Senior Superintendent rank (IIB), one to City Sub-regional Police Chief level (IIB), twelve to Superintendent rank (IIIA1), and eleven to Sub-regional Police Chief positions (IIIA2).
The latest reshuffle also promoted four female police officers, namely Brigadier General Dr. dr. Sumy Hastry Purwanti as the INP Head of Medical Care Division, SUperintendent Bestiana as the Deputy Director of Community Guidance at South Sumatra Regional Police, Superintendent Riyana Purwasari as Padang Pariaman Sub-regional Police Chief , and Superintendent Erma Rahayu Kusuma Ningrum as Purworejo Sub-regional Police Chief.
The reassignment also encompassed six officers completing educational training, one departing for advanced study, seven re-confirmed in current roles, and twenty-three entering retirement.
