Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  The Indonesian National Police (INP) Criminal Investigation Agency have announced on Thursday (7/6/2024) their plan to hand over seven  suspects and evidence related to an election fraud case involving the fraudulent addition of data to the permanent voter list (DPT) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. "We will send them tomorrow," said Brigadier General  Djuhandani Raharjo Puro, the Director of General Crimes of the INP Criminal Investigation Agency. He explained said that transfer of seven former members of the Overseas Election Committee (PPLN) and evidence is done after prosecutors confirmed the completion of the case file on Tuesday. The seven suspects in this case have not been detained since the were named  suspects. This is because investigators have a 14-day window to prepare the case file. They are facing charges under Article 545 and/or Article 544 of Law Number 7 of 2017 on General Elections. (mg/ay/pr/nm)
