inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Commissioner General Chrysnanda Dwi Laksana says that Artificial Intelligence (AI) capability plays a vital role in facing the challenges of today's technological developments. He conveyed this at the National Seminar in Ubhara Jaya.
Chrysnanda explained that smart policing and grand strategies must be owned by the police members as preparation to face the development of the times. Smart policing itself is how the police can adapt to the digital era and its developments.
"Building Artificial Intelligence, anticipating AI crimes, misinformation, hoaxes, disinformation, etc., is one of the things that must be mastered to realize smart policing," explained Chrysnanda on Wednesday (6/18/2025).
He said that development with future policing and harmonizing e-policing is a form of providing excellent public service. However, the mindset of all ranks needs to be the same and built with literacy. This is because organizational behavior is a reflection of how literate it is.
"Police Science must continue to be developed, so that it can be a subject of discussion and debate through thoughts to build order and civilization. With the emergence of a sense of security in society," he said.
