Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Jakarta Transportation Office forbids election campaign props to be plastered all over the public transportation.
“We announce that the campaign props should not be put on the public transportation,” announce Jakarta Transportation Office Head, Syafrin Liputo on Monday (12/18/2023).
Syafrin states that busses, trains, and other public transportation must be free from political campaign.
Moreover, Jakarta Transportation Office stated firmly that they will put down the campaign props if they ever found it on places that should be free from political influence.
“We expect those areas to be neutral [from political influence]. And we are sorry if we have to put them down as it was instructed by our officials,” says Syafrin.
In addition, Syafrin reminds that the passengers are also allowed to put down the campaign props if they were found on the public transportation.
