Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Narcotics Directorate of Jambi Regional Police has handed over a suspect and evidence in a 58-kilogram methamphetamine case to the Jambi Prosecutor’s Office after the case file was declared complete.

“This case has been declared complete by the public prosecutor, and today we submitted the suspect and evidence to Kejati Jambi for prosecution,” said Narcotics Director Senior Superintendent Thomas Panji Susbandaru on Wednesday (10/6/2026).

The suspect, M. Alung Ramadhan (32), alleged to be a courier in a Malaysia–Indonesia drug network, was previously on the wanted list after escaping police custody before being recaptured in April 2026. He faces charges under Indonesia’s Narcotics Law, carrying penalties up to death or life imprisonment.

Jambi Prosecutor’s Office spokesperson Noly Wijaya confirmed Alung’s detention for 20 days pending indictment. The case stems from an October 2025 seizure of 58 kilograms of meth, with three suspects charged.
