Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. State toll operator PT Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad Regional Division has recorded a significant uptick in traffic volume across Greater Jakarta and West Java during the 2026 Eid Al-Fitr holiday period.
"Total traffic leaving Greater Jakarta toward Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Merak, and Puncak reached 175,132 vehicles, representing a 0.72 percent increase compared to normal transaction volumes of 173,8 79," said Widiyatmiko Nursejati, the Senior General Manager of PT Jasa Marga on Saturday (14/3/2026), as cited by antaranews.com.
The most notable surge occurred at the Cikupa Toll Gate toward Merak, which saw a 6.88 percent increase, while the Cengkareng Toll Gate toward Soekarno-Hatta Airport rose by 1.20 percent. In West Java, traffic toward Bandung and Rancaekek grew by 1.93 percent, with the Cileunyi Toll Gate recording a substantial 14.23 percent jump in vehicles heading toward Bandung or Jakarta.
PT Jasa Marga called on travelers to ensure vehicle readiness, maintain sufficient electronic toll balances, and use the same e-toll card for entry and exit in closed-system toll segments like Cipularang and Padaleunyi to prevent transaction delays.
