Jayapura Sub-regional Police carries out pro-active measures in maintaining smooth and security of election by launching strict security operation for ballot folding process. The effort was to ensure for integrated election in Jayapura. Superintendent Fredrickus W.A Maclamrimboen states that the security is part of the commitment in supporting a fair and secure election. “We continuously provide maximum security to ensure ballot folding process is undisturbed,” says Fredrickus. The security aim to prevent disturbance or any actions harming the integrity of the election, while also providing comfort for the community participating in the election. Moreover, the Jayapura Regional Police Chief urge the people to remain calm and support the democratic process by maintaining order during the election. All parties are expected to jointly create a conducive situation for the success of election in Jayapura Regency. The security operation for the ballot folding process hopefully could provide comfort that every ballot used are safe and their vote would be counted fairly.
