inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police has deployed 4,057 joint personnel to serve and secure the planned demonstration for various community groups to express their opinions on Monday (6/22/2026).
Thousands of personnel are stationed at several activity points, including the National Monument (Monas) area, the Hotel Indonesia Roundabout/Dukuh Atas, and the areas around the House of Representatives (DPR/MPR) and the Ministry of Forestry.
The Head of Public Relations for the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police, Senior Superintendent Budi Hermanto, stated that police personnel aim to ensure that the public's demonstration proceeds safely, orderly, smoothly, and conducively.
Based on the plan, the personnel involved consist of 3,701 Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police personnel, 156 Sub-regional Police personnel, and 200 Indonesian Military (TNI) personnel.
"4,057 joint personnel are deployed to secure the protest. Security is being carried out with a gentle approach, while prioritizing the safety of all parties, both protesters and road users," said Budi.
Budi explained that personnel are also being deployed to anticipate potential emergencies, such as traffic jams, traffic violations, convoys, roadblocks, and disruption to public facilities.
However, all security measures will be implemented in accordance with applicable procedures and legal provisions.
He also urged protesters to express their opinions by not neglecting public safety, not to be easily provoked, not to carry dangerous objects, and to respect the rights of others.
