Inp.polri.go.id - Labuan Bajo. The Indonesian National Police (INP) has reiterated its unwavering commitment to meticulously address several crucial aspects in ensuring the security of the ASEAN Summit held in Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).

"Significant factors, such as the challenging topography and narrow roads of Labuan Bajo, present concerns that demand our attention," stated Commissioner General Mohammad Fadil Imran, the Head of the Security Maintenance Board of INP on Wednesday (10/5/23).

He emphasized that the ASEAN Summit security is a collaborative endeavor involving the INP, Indonesian Military, and relevant stakeholders. The INP has organized its personnel into eight dedicated task forces to effectively address the security challenges.

Before commencing the security operations, extensive preparations were undertaken, including thorough assessments of personnel readiness. This comprehensive approach guarantees that they are fully equipped and prepared to carry out their duties when the main event begins.

"In this context, the synergy, coordination, and integration between INP and Indonesian Military are directives from the Commander of the Indonesian Military and the Chief of INP, signifying our utmost priority," he said.
