Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Indonesian President Joko Widodo visits South Sulawesi Province on Thursday (2/22/2024). On his visit to the province, the president visited seven locations in three regencies/cities for various agendas, including inaugurating various national development project in Makassar City and Pangkep Regency.
During his visit to Makassar City, the president famously called Jokowi Losari Waste Water Management Installation (IPAL) of Metropolitan Sanitation Management Investment Project at Metro Tanjung Bunga. He then continued his tour to inaugurate Makassar New Port Toll Access and Makassar Pelindo New Port.
After completing his working visit in Makassar City, Jokowi then headed to Pangkep Regency to inaugurate Regional Roads Presidential Instruction.
Other than inaugurating various new construction at the province, president Jokowi also departed to Maros Regency to meet with the people joining of the Building a Prosperous Family Economy (Mekaar) program at the back of Maros Regent Office.
The South Sulawesi Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Andi Rian Ryacudu Djajadi and related stakeholders accompanied the president while also ensuring the locations security.
“We hope that the visit goes well and smoothly. In another note, we also saw the enthusiasm of locals in welcoming the president as they greeted the president across the streets from the airport to hotel,” said Andi.
