Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has named on Saturday (20/12/2025) Bekasi Regent Ade Kuswara Kunang and his father, Sukadami Village Head HM Kunang, as suspects following a sting operation linked to alleged project bribery in Bekasi, West Java.
“Based on the evidence, KPK has named three suspects, including the Bekasi regent, his father, and a private individual,” Acting Deputy for Enforcement and Execution Asep Guntur Rahayu said, as reported by antaranews.com.
The case involves alleged advance payments and bribes related to local government projects, with investigators estimating total illicit funds reaching billions of rupiah. All suspects have been detained for an initial 20-day period starting 20 December 2025.
In a separate case, KPK also named North Hulu Sungai District Prosecutor Albertinus Parlinggoman Napitupulu and two prosecutors as suspects for alleged extortion of regional officials, with suspected proceeds reaching Rp1.5 billion, handled independently by KPK.
