inp.polri.go.id - Lampung. Lampung Regional Police reveal that the 9.9 hectares of land used for the food security program is ready to be used for planting.
According to the Head of Lampung Regional Police, Inspector General Helmy Santika, of the 9.9 hectares, 1.4 hectares of land will be planted with corn seed, 5 hectares for cassava, and the other 3.5 hectares will be used either corn or cassava.
This program is part of a strategic step to support local and national food availability.
“We are giving full support to the Asta Cita Program to realize the goal of food security. We have prepared the land that will be planted with the seeds of corn and cassava productively,” says Helmy on Thursday (1/2/2025).
Helmy added that this program not only supports food needs, but also provides economic benefits for the surrounding community.
"We hope that the community can participate in managing this land. That way, the results are not only for food security, but also improve the local community's economy," he said.
Furthermore, Helmy added that in realizing national food security, collaboration is important. Because, this program is a big vision of the government to create sustainable food security.
"The success of this program requires synergy between the government, the Lampung Regional Police, and the community. We will continue to ensure that everything goes according to plan to achieve maximum results," explained Helmy.
