inp.polri.go.id – Bandar Lampung. The government has announced the implementation of Emergency Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) starting from July 3-20 2021. Referring to this, the Lampung Regional Police also implemented layered insulation for every vehicle going to Java Island. The Director of Traffic Management (Dirlantas) of the Lampung Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Raden Romdhon said his party had blocked the access of the emergency route from Sumatra Island to Java. Each vehicle must pass through four guard posts spread over three isolation points. We will check each vehicle and turn around, in this case, we have hundreds of vehicles that we have turned back, explained the Lampung Police Traffic Director, Thursday (07/15/2021). Regional Police's Traffic Director Lampung explained, his staff had anticipated access to traffic lanes. This is likely to be used by motorists to get to the island of Java. Especially at the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS) crossing, the blocking is carried out at two points, namely the KM 239 Simpang Pematang Toll Exit checkpoint and the KM 04 South Bakauheni Toll Exit checkpoint. "Then what if we pass, because we don't pass the toll road but the arterial route, we will block the inspection at Bakauheni Port and BBJ Port (Bandar Bakau Jaya)," explained the Lampung Regional Police's Traffic Director. Regarding the implementation of the blocking, the Lampung Regional Police's Traffic Director revealed that personnel consisting of joint officers will check the completeness of the travel requirements for each driver. It includes the results of the H-1 Antigen or H-2 PCR test as well as a vaccine certificate (at least the first stage). "Yesterday, ASDP has also provided officers for antigen examination for logistics vehicles at KM 20," explained the Lampung Regional Police's Traffic Director. When asked about the details of the number of riders who confirmed COVID-19 from Java to Sumatra or vice versa, Romdhon said that it was more precisely to ask the health office in each region. "Because our business is only to check vehicles going to Java Island, while for the purpose of going to Sumatra Island, an inspection is carried out from the Banten Regional Police," explained the Lampung Regional Police's Traffic Director.
