Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. A magnitude 4.1 earthquake struck northwest of Calang, Aceh Jaya Regency, Aceh Province, on Saturday afternoon (11/7/2026) at 2.41 pm.
The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) reported that the earthquake's epicenter was located at coordinates 4.64 North Latitude and 95.22 East Longitude.
"The epicenter was 40 kilometers northwest of Calang, Aceh Jaya, at a depth of 31 kilometers," BMKG said via its official X account.
The agency noted that the preliminary data prioritizes speed, meaning the results are not yet stable and could change as more comprehensive information becomes available. No immediate damage or casualties were reported following the minor undersea tremor.
