inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of Manpower Yassierli encouraged Indonesia's young generation or talents to become innovators and job creators through various skills development programs strengthened by the current government.
"Young talents need to be prepared not only to be job-ready, but also to be able to create business opportunities and innovative solutions," said Yassierli on Monday (5/11/2026).
Therefore, he believes the government, along with other stakeholders, must work together to improve the human resource (HR) development ecosystem by connecting vocational training, education, and the industrial world to address employment challenges such as digitalization and the development of artificial intelligence (AI).
Yassierli explained that the Talent & Innovation Hub is one of the Ministry of Manpower's efforts to strengthen the connection between vocational training, education, and the industrial world in order to produce productive, adaptive, and globally competitive human resources.
"From learning to earning, from potential to productivity," he said.
Meanwhile, Acting Director of Workforce Placement and Employment Opportunity Expansion at the Ministry of Manpower, Estiarty Haryani, stated that this program is also aimed at fostering the emergence of young entrepreneurs and innovation-based startups.
"Through the Talent & Innovation Hub, we want to provide an integrated talent development space, from job readiness and entrepreneurship development to network and market access," explained Acting Director Estiarty.
