Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Water and Air Police Directorate of Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police carried out a humanitarian mission in the Thousand Islands by evacuating a 68-year-old resident suffering from illness on Payung Island.
The evacuation was conducted using a patrol boat to Tidung Island Health Center for medical treatment.
Director Senior Superintendent Mustofa said that the swift response reflects the Indonesian National Police (INP)’s dedication to serving coastal and island communities.
“We always strive to respond quickly to public reports, especially those involving health and safety emergencies. The presence of the Water and Air Police must be felt by those in need,” he said.
Chief Mustofa added that patrol boats are not only for maritime security but also for humanitarian missions.
“Our patrol vessels are ready to assist in emergencies, including medical evacuations for residents with limited access to healthcare facilities,” he explained
