As many as 945 personnel came from 210 Pas Pioneer Mobile Brigade Corps, 210 Mobile Brigade Unit of East Java Regional Police, 105 Mobile Brigade Unit personnel from Bali Regional Police, 210 Mobile Brigade Unit of Central Java Regional Police, and 210 Mobile Brigade Unit of West Java Regional Police.
Maximize the deployment of members and equipment in handling disasters, especially residential areas/settlements for residents who need evacuation, explained the National Police Chief in a statement, Sunday (12/05/2021)
In addition to personnel, the National Police also sent equipment assistance in SAR cars, field kitchen cars, "reapiter" cars, "water treatment" cars, ambulances, and other supporting cars.
"Pay attention to security factors, personal safety, teams, and communities affected by disasters," continued the National Police Chief,
The Supreme Leader of the National Police also reminded that his staff was involved in the humanitarian operation of Operation Safe Nusa II in handling the Mount Semeru eruption disaster so that all handling activities comply with health protocol guidelines.
"Monitor the development of the situation, carry out coordination with Indonesian National Board for Disaster Management or Indonesian Regional Disaster Management and related Agencies," said the National Police Chief.
