The Mantap Brata Turangga Sterilization Sub-task Force of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Regional Police secures the area around the routes where President Joko Widodo would use during his working visit in Kupang City. Leading the operation, the Chief Sub-task Force, Police Grand Commissioner Adjutant Satrya P. Panuntung Tarung Binti states his unit has been dispatched to several locations to secure Jokowi’s visit. Satrya explains that the operation is part of his task force duties in supporting national agendas. “We are committed to provide maximum security and ensure the routes used by the president is safe and free from any potential threats,” says Satrya. It was reported that Jokowi is scheduled for several activities in the city, including a visit to school, hospital, Bulog NTT branch office, religious sites, while also planned to continue his program of planting thousands of trees across Indonesia. In supporting the smoothness of Jokowi’s visit, Satrya’s task force will ensure the places visited by the president are guaranteed free from disruptions and threats as the effort also serves as their responsibility in securing public safety and security.
