Inp.polri.go.id – Papua. After Papua Armed Criminal Group terrorize Oksibil, Bintang Mountain Police have ensured that the situation is under control and secure. They state that public have returned to their daily activity. In a span less than a week, police reported that the Armed Criminal Group have shot a member of Cartenz Peace Ops, two civilians, burned down a market and seven kiosks, and assaulted a member of Civil service police Unit. Bintang Mountain Police Chief, Police Grand Commissioner Adjutant Mohamad Dafi Bastomi explains that Indonesian Military Force and Indonesian National Police are on guard despite conducive situations. “The preparation of our personnel is an anticipation measures if there are any disturbances from the Armed Criminal Group,” said Bastomi in his written statement, Thursday (9/21/2023).
