inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian Ombudsman (ORI) commended the Hajj administration for optimizing digital information media, integrated services, and actively responding to public complaints.

At the 2026 National Working Meeting on the Evaluation of Hajj Implementation in Jakarta on Saturday (7/4/2026), Indonesian Ombudsman member Nuzran Joher stated that he assessed the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah as having performed quite well in resolving complaints through the Kawal Haji application.

"The application is very good at categorizing complaints per service," said Nuzran, as confirmed in Jakarta on Monday (7/13/2026).

ORI also commended the Hajj administration during the institutional transition period.

Nuzran assessed the innovation of the Seamless Immigration Process at Soekarno-Hatta Airport in Tangerang and the Sukolilo Hajj Dormitory in Surabaya, as well as the addition of the Makkah Route at Sultan Hasanuddin Airport in Makassar, as being effective in expediting immigration services and saving time.

However, he stated that several field findings were still found at several Hajj dormitories and embarkation/disembarkation airports. He also provided an analysis of public reports received by Kawal Haji.

He suggested standardizing procedures and ensuring timely completion, integrated with SP4N-LAPOR! (General Application for Electronic-Based Government Systems/SPBE) to ensure its performance is accountably documented.

"We hope the Hajj administration will be even better in the future," he said.

Furthermore, Nuzran emphasized that public oversight is also carried out directly. The public is so numerous that services are expected to continue to improve.
