inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. This year's Operation Ketupat 2026 is supported by far more advanced technology to monitor the traffic situation more accurately and quickly. Vice Chief of the Indonesian National Police (INP), Commissioner General Dedi Prasetyo, assessed that the technological readiness used to secure this year's exodus is much better than in previous years.
This was conveyed by him during a direct inspection of the Operation Ketupat Command Center at KM 29 of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road.
According to him, the various technological devices currently in use allow officers to monitor traffic conditions in real time and assist in the decision-making process for traffic engineering management.
Furthermore, in this year's Operation Ketupat, all traffic patrol personnel on duty in the field are equipped with body cameras, or bodycams.
These devices are used to monitor the situation and ensure that every action taken by officers in the field is properly monitored, ensuring that the implementation of their duties is carried out transparently and accountably.
"These bodycams are crucial for observing the situation and monitoring the actions of officers in the field," said Dedi.
He added that in addition to the use of bodycams by patrol personnel, security for the homecoming traffic is also supported by various other technological devices integrated with the Command Center.
"I think we're much more prepared this year. In addition to the mobile Command Center equipped with drones, we're also using ETLE drones for electronic traffic enforcement," said Dedi.
Meanwhile, INP also operates ETLE drones, which are used to electronically enforce traffic violations. This technology allows law enforcement to continue without having to stop vehicles directly on the road.
With the support of these various technologies, INP hopes that monitoring of the homecoming traffic flow can be carried out more effectively, quickly, and transparently, thus ensuring optimal service to the public during the homecoming journey.
