inp.polri.go.id - Bandar Lampung. The Lampung Regional Police has begun revitalizing its patrol system by implementing barcode-based patrols as a transformational step toward more precise, measurable, and transparent data-driven policing.

The innovation, titled "Patroli QR Janji Jaga," initiated by the Bandar Lampung Sub-regional City Police, is considered effective in improving patrol oversight and reducing crime through more targeted patrols.

The Head of Public Relations of the Lampung Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Yuni Iswandari Yuyun, stated that the Lampung Regional Police Chief expressed his appreciation and satisfaction for the innovation and considered the initiative as effective in supporting police duties in the field.

"The Lampung Regional Police Chief considers the Patrol QR Janji Jaga innovation to be excellent and effective in supporting personnel patrol activities as all patrol activities can be monitored in real time and based on data," said Yuni Iswandari Yuyun, Monday (5/25/2026).

According to her, the system represents a transformation from conventional patrols to modern patrols that prioritize technology and analysis of regional vulnerability.

In its implementation, the Patroli QR Janji Jaga system integrates GPS geofencing technology and QR code scanning at crime-prone areas, allowing patrol personnel to be directly validated based on their location and time.

"With this system, patrols are no longer merely a formality, but truly measurable, accountable, and directly supervised by superiors," he said.

Furthermore, all patrol data is directly connected to a control dashboard, allowing superiors to quickly and transparently monitor patrol statistics, personnel activities, and public order and security developments.

On the other hand, the system also features a Community Satisfaction Index (IKM) survey feature and a digital complaint service, "Lapor Pak," which allows the public to submit reports and assessments of police services directly and anonymously.

"The Chief has also ordered all personnel in Lampung to begin implementing this barcode-based patrol system from the launch of the innovation in November 2025, as part of strengthening modern police services," she explained.
