Undeniably, he said, General Sigit deeply understands the role of religious leaders who can work together to create peace and security in society.

"General Listyo once served in Yogyakarta, if I'm not mistaken. He is well aware of the roles of many community leaders in Yogyakarta known as kiyai," explained the Chairman of the PBNU.

The elder of the Pondok Buntet Islamic Boarding School, Kh. Adib Rofiuddin Izza, also expressed his gratitude to General Sigit for all his contributions to the Pondok Buntet Islamic Boarding School. He also acknowledged police's support, demonstrating their commitment.

"Thank you, Chief Sigit, for all your assistance. He was truly kind. Thank you," he explained in his remarks on Saturday (8/2/2025).

Kh. Adib emphasized that the entire Islamic boarding school community believes that the state's security is guaranteed under General Sigit's leadership. Unity and integrity are a shared commitment to safeguarding this nation.

"We are here only to entrust the nation and state, nothing more," he said.
