Inp.polri.go.id - Prabumulih. The Prabumulih Regency Sub-regional Police implemented the BELIDA clean-up program along Jalan Sumatera in Prabumulih, South Sumatra, on Friday (19/6/2026).
Organized under the national "Gerakan Indonesia ASRI" initiative, the collaborative cleanup drive aims to foster public health, improve social resilience, and build collective community awareness regarding environmental sustainability.
"Environmental cleanliness is a shared responsibility. The Indonesian National Police are present alongside local government and the public to build a culture of environmental care," said Prabumulih Police Head of Community Guidance Superintendent Sardinata, who led the multi-sectoral operation.
Supported by Prabumulih’s Environmental Department and Trade Office, the cleaning campaign targeted public facilities, residential zones, and areas surrounding local houses of worship.
South Sumatra Police Head of Public Relations, Senior Superintendent Nandang Mu’min Wijaya, said that these environmental efforts serve as a crucial foundation for strengthening mutual cooperation and sustaining long-term regional security.
