inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Criminal Investigation Unit has detained the former President Director of PT Dana Syariah Indonesia (DSI), identified as AS. The case relates to fraud and money laundering involving lender funds.

"The Directorate of Special Economic Crimes of INP Criminal Investigation Unit has taken steps to forcibly detain suspect AS at INP Criminal Investigation Unit Detention Center for the next 20 days, starting Wednesday, April 8, 2026," explained the Director of Economic and Special Crimes, Brigadier General Ade Safri Simanjuntak, Thursday (4/9/2026).

He explained that the detention was carried out under Articles 99 and 100 of the Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP).

According to him, prior to the detention, the investigative team questioned suspect AS for seven hours. The suspect was asked 50 questions.

"The questioning of suspect AS began in the examination room at 11:23 a.m. The questioning lasted approximately seven hours and concluded at 7:00 p.m.," he said.
