Police arrested AW (35), people who spread the call for jihad against the Counterterrorism Special Detachment (88) of National Police and provoked people to burn Departmental and Sectoral Police Headquarter across the country. AW was arrested in his home in Bandung, West Java. "Related to provocation by social media, which has been posted and viral in social media. The perpetrator is initialled AW. We confirmed that on Friday, November 19, at 15.00, Bandung City Departmental Police, in this context the Criminal Investigation Unit, have arrested AW, who have conducted provocations", the Chief of General Information Unit of PR Division of Indonesian National Police, Police Grand Commissioner Ahmad Ramadhan, in the Indonesian National Police Headquarter on Monday (22/11/2021). Chief of General Information Unit explained that, after examination, AW is proved to consume four Riklona pills at the same time. This made AW cannot control himself to upload the call for jihad. "The examination conducted by Criminal Investigation Unit of Bandung City Departmental Police through interview and physical examination showed that before posting it, he drank four pills of Riklona at the same time. Due to the Riklone effect, AW admitted that he lost focus and concentration so he could not control himself", he explained. AW has admitted his actions and promised not to do it again. Therefore, Police then educated AW and decided to bring him home. "He admitted his wrongdoing and has promised not to do it again. Of course, besides the law enforcement personnel, the Police is the public educators and protect the public. Considering he still able to be educated, Police provided a chance for education", he said. "Therefore, in the night, at 18.30, AW was brought back to his home and will not be subjected to legal process but subjected to education.
