Police Confirms Overseas Election Went Smoothly

Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) told that the election in Johor Baharu, Malaysia went smoothly, although there are initial disruptions before brought to order by security officials. The Indonesian General Election in Johor was held on Sunday (2/14/2024). “We just held zoom meeting with the Overseas Election Commission (PPLN), particularly the Kuala Lumpur, Johor and Kinabalu PPLN. Indeed, there was a long queue in the polling station, however officials was able to handle the situation, and thankfully the election went smoothly,” said Head of INP Security Maintenance Agency, Commissioner General Fadil Imran at INP Grand HQ on Monday (2/12/2024). Furthermore, Fadil explains that the smooth, safe, and secure elections in Malaysia were thanks to good cooperation with related stakeholder. Fadil says that the security will still be applied until the recapitulation day on February 14th, 2024 Is over. Moreover, there are two other states who still have not yet voted. “There are two countries yet, Hongkong and Taipie, who have not yet voted and will take place on 13th and 14th of February.
