inp.polri.go.id - Central Jakarta. The Central Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police confirmed that the food produced by the Rawasari 2 and 3 Police Nutrition Service Units (SPPG) is safe and suitable for consumption after a Food Safety inspection on Wednesday (9/23/2026).
The inspection was conducted by the Central Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police's Health and Medical Unit from 4:00 a.m. until completion. This inspection was conducted to ensure that the food to be served meets food safety and hygiene standards.
Officers inspected several aspects, including the condition of the kitchen, the cleanliness of the food processing facilities, and the physical and organoleptic condition of the food to be served.
The inspection results showed that the kitchen was clean. The kitchen was also located far from the garbage dump, had good air circulation and lighting, and was equipped with facilities for washing equipment and food ingredients using clean running water.
An organoleptic examination revealed that none of the food exhibited any foul odors or other odors uncharacteristic of food. Officers also found no unusual flavors or discoloration.
Furthermore, no contaminants such as mold, insects, or dirt were found. All food was served in sealed containers and in clean condition.
Central Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police Chief, Senior Superintendent Reynold E.P. Hutagalung, stated that the food safety inspection is part of an effort to ensure that the food produced and served meets safety and hygiene standards.
"This inspection is conducted to ensure that the food served is safe, clean, and fit for consumption. Based on the organoleptic and chemical tests, all food items were declared fit for consumption," said Reynold.
He added that regular inspections are also part of their commitment to maintaining food safety standards within the SPPG environment.
Based on the results of chemical tests, physical and organoleptic tests, all food items from Police SPPG Rawasari 2 and 3 were declared fit for consumption.
